Obaidullah named best SI in Moulvibazar district

Obaidullah, Sub-Inspector (Unarmed) In-charge of Shrepur Police Outpost has been elected as the best Sub-Inspector (SI) of Moulvibazar district for the month of June 2026.

He received the distinction for his professional success and remarkable efficiency.

Moulvibazar District Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Monirul Islam handed over the appreciation certificate to him on July 15.

According to police sources, several successful anti-drug drives were conducted under the leadership of SI Obaidullah since he took charge of the Sherpur area. Various narcotics, including Yaba and cannabis, were seized, and multiple drug traders were arrested during these drives.

At the same time, regular patrolling, sudden checkposts, increased intelligence surveillance, and strict monitoring of suspects have reduced crimes like theft and mugging in the area.

After achieving this honor, he expressed his gratitude to Almighty Allah and thanked everyone concerned.
