
ILFORD: Redbridge Community Trust UK has stepped up preparations for its forthcoming Student Award Ceremony following a detailed planning meeting held at a local restaurant in Ilford.
The meeting, which began at 6pm, was chaired by the organisation’s President, Mohammed Ohid Uddin, who welcomed members of the executive committee and stressed the importance of ensuring the successful delivery of the upcoming programme.
The Student Award Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 27 September, at Ford Sports and Social Club, Aldborough Road South, Ilford, IG3 8HE.
The meeting was conducted by General Secretary Shaheen Choudhury, with executive members holding an extensive discussion on the arrangements for the event. Key areas covered included fundraising, collecting students’ information, catering, artists and sound systems, trophies and certificates, the raffle draw, and utensils.
The discussions continued for approximately one and a half hours, with members reaching conclusions on a number of important organisational matters.
As part of the preparations, a dedicated sub-committee was formed to coordinate the programme. The committee consists of Shaheen Choudhury, Anamul Hoque Anam, Faruk Uddin, Kamrul Islam Delwar, Misbah Jamal, Abu Taraque Chowdhury, Shahidul Islam Minu, Alin Chowdhury, Helal Chowdhury, Mohammad Sumon Choudhury, and Rezaul Karim Raju.
The organisation has called on all members to give their full support and commitment to the event, while also encouraging them to actively invite guests to attend the ceremony.
Among those also present at the meeting were Moheuddin Ahmed Alamgir, Jaynul Chowdhury, Nayem Ahmed Joy, and Mohammed Monir.
The productive meeting concluded with light refreshments, as preparations continue for what the organisers hope will be a successful and memorable Student Award Ceremony.
