An Arab national was injured and minor property damage was reported in Riyadh after Saudi air defense forces intercepted a ballistic missile launched by Houthi rebels over the capital.

The debris from the intercepted missile fell into a residential area, resulting in minor damage to a residential building and a private vehicle.

A spokesperson for the Saudi Civil Defense stated that emergency response and security teams were dispatched to the site immediately after receiving reports of falling debris from the intercepted missile.

Quoting the Civil Defense official, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) confirmed that one Arab resident sustained injuries, while a building and a vehicle suffered slight damage.

Houthi rebel attacks targeting Saudi Arabia have escalated over the past week, including a major strike on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh last Saturday that resulted in 13 fatalities. The frequency of these attacks has heightened growing concerns over public safety and key infrastructure across the kingdom.
