The ninth edition of the weekly ‘Super Sale Car Bazar’ was held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital on Friday, bringing together vehicle buyers, sellers, dealerships and businesses from the automobile sector.

The event began at 10am at ICCB’s Expo Village, where visitors had the opportunity to explore a range of new, reconditioned and pre-owned cars, motorcycles and utility vehicles.

Organised by Wizard Showbiz in association with ICCB as the venue partner, the marketplace aims to create a direct link between vehicle buyers and sellers, making transactions easier and reducing the need for intermediaries.

Individual vehicle owners and dealerships displayed their vehicles, allowing prospective buyers to inspect different models, compare prices and discuss deals directly with sellers. The platform also enabled owners to bring their used cars and motorcycles for sale.

The marketplace brought together automobile brands, accredited dealerships, financial institutions and automotive service providers under one roof.

Organisers said the initiative was designed to meet the changing demands of the country’s automobile market by providing a convenient and reliable space for buying and selling vehicles.

Unlike traditional car shopping, where customers often have to visit several showrooms to compare models, the marketplace allows them to explore vehicles from different brands at a single location, saving both time and effort.

A visitor, Jahirul Islam, said, “Buyers can compare different models and prices without visiting several showrooms. It is convenient, especially for those looking for a used car.”

Special discounts and promotional financing facilities were also available for customers interested in purchasing vehicles. Visitors could explore financing options offered through participating financial institutions.

The weekly event was launched on 4 September and has been held every Friday since then. Its previous editions received encouraging responses from buyers and sellers.

The air-conditioned Expo Village also provides a sheltered environment for vehicle displays and transactions, keeping activities unaffected by rain or shine.

The weekly marketplace opens every Friday at 10am and continues until 8pm.
