birth anniversary of mass 79th people’s poet Dilwar on January 1

79th observed on January 1, 2015, Thursday. on this occasion floral wreath was offered at the

grave of the poet at 9-00 AM and a Dua mahfil was held at `Ro Shahitto tirtho’ at Khan

Monjil jointly by his family members and Poet Dilwar Council that day.

Next day a discussion meeting, recitation of dedicated poems and songs of mass people

were presented from 3.00 PM. Prominent academician Professor Abdul Aziz attended the

pragramme as chief guest.

Chaired by prominent poet-researcher of seventies and vice president of poet Dilwar

council. Dinul Islam Babul, senior lawyer Azizul Malik Chowdhury. former president of

Sylhet District Bar Association, Barrister Arosh Ali, vice president, central committee of

Bangladesh Udichi Shilpi Gushti, principal Proshato Kumar Saha, Bhobotush Barman

Rana, valiant freedom fighter and president, Sylhet city command of Bangladesh

Muktijodda Sangsad, A K Sheram, poet and president, Sylhet Divisional Poem Council

and Udichi Shilpi Gushti, Sylhet Branch, Al-Azad, President, Press Club Foundation and

Journalist and son of the poet Kamran Ibne Dilwar spoke at the pragramme as special

guests.

Poet Eklasur Rahman, Abdul Hannan, Pulin roy, Professor Himangshu Ranjan Das,

journalist poet Samir Mahmud, Muhit chowdhury, vice principal Dr. Shahidul islam,

joynal Abedin Jewel, Shahed Bakht shahed, bashir Al-Jewel, Tubar ali, Taresh kanti

Suprio Shanto Banerijee delivered his address of welcome at he programme. At the end

of the programme, the songs of mass and recitation of poems by Udichi and Stobok

Shilpi Gushti enthralled the audience.
