Grater Lamakazi Association UK organised a meeting on Sunday 4th of March to felicitate former
Shadow Education Secretary and MP for Bethnal Green and Bow Rushanara Ali. The meeting took
place at Impression Event Venue in East Ham.
The meeting was presided over by President of the organisation Faruk Ali and General Secretary
Sadequzzaman conducted it. Organisation’s Founder President and Director of Impression, Hiron
Miah delivered the welcoming speech to the audience.
While addressing the audience, Rushanara Ali MP said that she is inundated by love of people from
her birthplace. She expressed her gratitude towards the organisers and hoped that they all will help
her in her coming election.
