Habiganj Medical College and Agriculture University will start its activities soon

67Habiganj Medical College and Agriculture University classes will be starting soon. Student’s admission will be taking place next year.   Medical classes will take place in the old hospital building until the construction of the new building is completed.   Advocate Abu Jahir MP said this in a meeting organised by UK Youth Association Habiganj to felicitate him.

He also said that with his effort Masters Courses have been introduced in Habiganj Brindabon College. He has also helped to establish five new colleges and eight schools. He has also took initiative to turn Habiganj 100 bed Hospital into 250 beds Hospital.

As Abu Jahir MP fulfilled all his commitments given to UK Youth Habiganj and the local people, UK Youth Habiganj organised this meeting to felicitate him.

A group of UK living Habiganj residents welcomed him to England when he arrived in London on 25th February.   The felicitation meeting took place in East London College of Advanced Study auditorium. The meeting was presided over by the President of the organisation and former student leader Nur Uddin Chowdhury Bulbul and conducted by UK Chatro League leader Shah Foyez.

Special guests who attended the meeting included Joint Secretary of UK Awami League Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury, Journalist-Reasearcher Motiar Chowdhury, Sala Uddin Taher, Barrister Onukul Talukdar Dalton, Kaji Shamsul Islam Shuvo, Jalal Uddin and Zakaria Chowdhury.

Associate Professor of Shahjalal University Jahirul Haque Shakil gave the welcoming speech while orgnasation’s President Nur Uddin Chowdhury Bulbul, Alamgir Chowdhury, Saiful Islam Helal and Shah Foyez welcomed the guest with flowers.

The other guests who addressed the audience included Shahdat Hossain, Saiful Islam Helal, Imrul Hossain, Mofazzol Hossain Shamol, Torun Chowdhury, Engineer Babu Shushanto Das Gupta, Ajit Lal Das, Kahir Jaman and others.

The speakers expressed the sincere gratitude toward Advocate Abu Jahir MP for fulfilling all his commitments.
