Bhuyan Shafiqul Islam is an proficient Pen Warrior.  He is an ideal novelist, creative poet and wise researcher.  Bangladesh, its long struggle for freedom and patriotic inspirations has always been visible in his work.  Senior Journalist and columnist Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury said this in special state dialogue organised by Channeel I Europe where he uncovered six books by prominent writer and President’s Secretary Bhuyan Shafiqul Islam.Channel I Europe’s Managing Director and President of UK Bangla Press Club, Reja Ahmed Foysal Chowdhury presented the whole event.  Other guests who addressed the audience included Journalist Motiyar Chowdhury, Parveen Sultana, Jamal Khan, Raqib Ruhel and Sajia Snigdha.Books which were unveiled at the event were Oshtho o Talwar, Gitimoy Dukhogulo, Ganer Vela, Ekti Bhromoner Bedona, Chirano Provur Hather Sutha and Asroyer Chayatol. Bangla Academy and few other prominent publishers published these books.The speaker expressed their appreciation and said that being a government officer, he has still managed to keep up his courageous writings. They all wished his good health and long life. Writer Bhuyan Shafiqul Islam expressed his gratitude to Channel I for organising such an event and promote his writing.The event was broadcasted live in Europe and in America via State Dialogue.
