Dorset Awami League observes Victory Day

UK Awami League Dorset Branch organised a discussion meeting in Bournemouth on 26th March to observe the 44th Victory and National Day of Bangladesh.  The meeting was presided over by the Convenor of Dorset Awami League Yahia Miah and was conducted by Member Secretary A M Afjol.
Dorset Awami League’s Advisor and Senior Awami League Leader Abdus Shahid was present in the meeting as Chief Guest and another Advisor Chunu Miah was present as Chief Guest.  Other guests who addressed the audience included local Awami League Leader Mamunur Rashid, Mohitur Rahman, Nidadul Kabir Khan, Rehan Ahmed, Faruk Miah, Shafique Miah and others.
Other speakers were Nojir Ahmed Selim, Shamim Ahmed, Akbor Khan, Ain Uddin, Shofique Uddin, Asab Miah, Jamal Uddin, Fojilot Khan, Rofique Ali, Abdul Gaffar, Lokman Hossain, Shah Ajij, Sujon Miah, Juber Ahmed, Ansar Miah, Niaj Ali, Abdul Aziz, Ibrahim Ali, Masum Ahmed, Iqbal Ali, Khasru Miah, Jakir Ali, Salauddin, Abdul Momit Foysol, HIfjur Rahman, Farid Miah, Sodikur Rahman, Parvej Ali, Ruhul Kabir, Tanjil Ahmed, Habib Miah, Abul Miah, Shamsul Uddin, Azad Miah, Emdad Ali, Najrul Islam, Shibbir Ahmed, Monjurul Alom and others.
The speakers said that it would not have been possible to achieve the independence without the contribution of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.  The speakers paid their whole-hearted tribute to the martyrs and victims of liberation war.
