Brighton and Hove Friendship Club organises Eid reunion

Brighton and Hove Friendship Club organised its Eid reunion on 27th July at Brighton seaside.  This colourful, vibrant and lovely event combined Pitha Festival, Children’s face painting and vivacious cultural performance.
The event was jointly conducted by Mijanur Rahman Mijan and Koyes Ahmed. Club’s founder Shoebur Rahman Shoeb addressed the audience at the beginning. President of Bangladesh Caterers Association and community leader Alhaj Rafiq Miah gave speech as special guest. Guest who were present at the event included community leader Milik Chowdhury, Kayum Chowdhury, Mihir Chowdhury, Muslehuzzaman, Badiul Alam, local community, business and social leaders.
The speakers hugely praised Brighton and Hove club for organising this event.  They emphasised that these types of events will help to build community cohesion and brotherhood among the local Bangladeshis.
Prominent singer Rowshon Ara Moni performed songs at the cultural event.
