Chatok Municipality Mayor Kalam Chowdhury in London

Mayor of Chatok Municipal Corporation Abul Kalalm Chowdhury and 20 other Municipality Mayor have arrived in London for one week government visit to the UK. They arrived at Heathrow Airport on 9^th of May afternoon.

A number of community leaders and activists were in Heathrow to welcome the Mayors. These included Deputy Leader of Independent Group of Tower Hamlets Council Mahbub Alam, Vice-President of UK Jubo League Najmul Islam, Organising Secretary Mahmud Ali, Health Secretary Masum Miah Talukdar, Organising Secretary of Greater London Jubo League Ashraf Miah Talukdar, Russel Ahmed and others.

Abul Kalam Chowdhury and other Mayors left London for Sylhet on Sunday afternoon.

The Mayors concluded eight this exertion on Urban Development Planning and Management and took part in different training programmes.

Mayor Abul Kalam Chowdhury called on many Chatok living expats and community during his visit.
