NID server restored after more than 24hrs

The National Identity Card (NID) server of the Election Commission was restored on Wednesday afternoon, hours after it went offline due to maintenance work.

The server was restored at about 2pm on Wednesday.

Election Commission’s NID wing’s director general AKM Humayun Kabir during a press briefing on Wednesday said that they kept the server down since zero hour on August 15 due to the maintenance works and some other reasons.
