Eminent educationist former principal of Sylhet MC College, late professor. Saleh Ahmed’s memorial shoba and doa mahfil were held at the Micro Business Center in East London.

It is noted that Prof. Md.Saleh Ahmed was born in 1963 in Syedpur village of Jagannathpur police station of Sunamganj district.
Passed the 14th BCS examination in general education cadre. Later, he joined the government service in 1993 as a lecturer in psychology department at Gafargaon Government College, Mymensingh.

MC College in 1994-2001, from there Rajshahi City Government College in 2001 and later joined MC College as Head of Department of Psychology after being promoted again.

Professor Md. Saleh Ahmad went on post-retirement leave on August 24, 2022 after serving for a long time as a teacher in the Department of Psychology and later as the Vice-Principal and Principal of the century-old traditional Murarichand (MC) College, Sylhet.

Ara retired to the land of no return
on Saturday, December 16, 2023. He died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Sylhet city (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilahi Raziun). He was 65 years old at the time of his death.
