Rashmika, Vijay ‘engaged’, wedding likely in Feb 2026

South Indian cinema’s much-loved duo Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have reportedly taken their relationship to the next level. The two stars are said to have gotten engaged in a private ceremony and are planning to tie the knot next year.

According to a report by NDTV, the couple exchanged rings on Friday, in an engagement ceremony attended by close family members and a few trusted friends.

While neither Rashmika nor Vijay has made an official announcement, multiple sources suggest that their wedding is likely to take place in February 2026.

Speculation around their engagement intensified recently after Rashmika shared a festive post on social media.

On the occasion of Dussehra, she posted a photo of herself wearing a traditional outfit and a tilak on her forehead. In the caption, she wrote: “Happy Dussehra, my loves… This year I’m especially grateful for your love for Thammamma trailer and our song. Your excitement, messages and support have made every moment even more joyful. I can’t wait to see you all during promotions very soon.”

The post led many fans to believe that she may be marking a new beginning in her personal life.

Rashmika and Vijay’s on-screen chemistry first won hearts in films like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, fueling rumours of a real-life romance for years.

Their off-screen bond has often been a topic of discussion among fans and the media alike.

On the professional front, Rashmika is gearing up for the release of her upcoming horror-comedy film Thammamma, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar.

The film, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana, also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal and is slated for release on October 21, 2025.

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in Telugu spy-action thriller Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
