On the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Abrar Fahad, Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir Kulaura upazila unit in Moulvibazar district observed Anti-Oppression Day with a discussion meeting and prayer session.
The event was held on Tuesday at the party office, organized by local unit of Chhatra Shibir.
Presided over by Upazila Chhatra Shibir President Tihan Talukder and moderated by Secretary Ruhul Amin, the program featured Mohammad Didar Hossain; former district Dawah Secretary of Chhatra Shibir and current Secretary of Kulaura Upazila Workers’ Welfare Federation, as the chief guest.
Among others present were Upazila Dawah Secretary Sayef Ahmed, Literary Secretary Shah Alam and several other leaders and activists from different levels of the organization.
The program included reflections on the significance of standing against oppression and concluded with special prayers for Abrar Fahad and others who have been victims of injustice.
