Indian HC to Bangladesh Pranay Verma summoned over security concern

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma on Tuesday.

According to diplomatic sources, Pranay Verma was summoned in light of the emerging security situation surrounding Bangladesh missions located in various parts of India, including New Delhi and Kolkata.

Bangladesh’s Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam summoned Pranay Verma at 10AM.

He was requested to ensure strengthened security for Bangladesh missions in different parts of India.

In the past 10 days, this is the second time summon of Pranay Verma to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
