Firearms recovered in Moulvibazar

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-9) recovered four air guns along with ammunition from Kamalganj upazila of Moulvibazar district early Sunday.

Acting on a tip-off, a RAB-9 operational team conducted a search in a bamboo grove inside a mahogany garden around 1:15 AM in the Kamudpur area under Alinagar union in the upazila.

During the search, they found four air guns wrapped in plastic bags and 25 air gun pellets kept inside a purple plastic container in an abandoned condition. However, none were arrested in this incident.

RAB-9 confirmed the incident through a press release and said that the recovered firearms were handed over to Kamalganj Police Station.
