Bangladesh government is now working towards bringing the Twenty-Twenty One vision into a reality. The way the country is advancing, it will turn into a country of midlevel income by 2021. However, to do this we all need to work as a united workforce and we also need the contribution of non-resident Bangladeshis across the world. MP from Habiganj-1 Abdul Munim Chowdhury Babu said this in a meeting organised by Greater London Nabignj Welfare Association UK on 24 May.
He urged to all the non-resident Banlgladeshis to invest in Bangladesh as it is rewarding and lucrative.
He also said that since his election, four colleges in Nabiganj received grants of around forty million taka. There are many development works visible now in Nabiganj. He expressed his sincerest gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her sincere co-operation.
The meeting was presided over by President of the organisation Nehar Miah Chowdhury. General Secretary Tofajjol Hossain Chowdhury Tuhin conducted it.
Guest who took part in the discussion included Accountant Mahmud A Rouf, Barrister Ataur Rahman, Journalist Matiar Chowdhury, Barrister Mahmudul Haque, Enayeth Hossain Khan, Najrul Islam, Abul Kalam Azad Chaton and Helal Chowdhury.
Mowlana Abul Kalam Azad recited from the Quran and Barrister Shamim Cowdhury gave the welcoming speech in the beginning of the discussion meeting.
