Red Chilly Curry Club Badminton Championship held

24Red Chilly Curry Club Championship 2105 took place on 24 May in a colourful manner. The whole day event took place in Mulbury place in East London where 28 teams from London took part. The competition started at 11 o’clock morning and continued till the evening.
Moni-Masum Duo became the champion in the competition. Councillor Ayas Ahmod, former President of BBCC Shahgir Bhakth Faruk and organisor of the tournament Sorkum Muhammod Khaled handed over the trpphy and certificates to winners.
Community Activists Abdul Latif, Abab Miah, Shahjahan Miah, Sajjad Miah, Shanoor Miah, Iliyas Miah and others were present at that time. Mohammod Shafiqul Islam co-operated for the running of the whole event.
At the closing ceremony the speakers said that there is no alternative to sports to keep up a healthy mind and body. Sports also play a crucial role in building community relationship and entertainment. They also said that Badminton is a very popular game and it is getting popular day by day in Bangladeshi community.
The speakers expressed their gratitude to Red Chilly Curry Club for organising this tournament.
Red Chilly Curry Club have been organising this game every year. Owner Sarkum Mohammod Khaled hoped that the club will continue to organise this event every year.
