Liverpool Bangla Press Club UK celebrated Pohela Boishakh in accordance with Bangladesh. President of the press club Surot Ali inaugurated the Boishakhi Mela in a hall in Liverpool. The Mela was featured by a rally, dance, music, Panta-Ilish and other cultural acitiviites.
The audience hugely enjoyed dance performance by the children. There were other cultural activities. The performers included Shotabdi Kor, Laboni Barua, Taslima Alam Jeni, Shubarna Paul Lina, Sagor, Shefali Ahmed, Mir Golam Mostofa, Rahel Ahmed and others.
The mela was presented by Foysol Ahmed, Fakhrul Alam and Sadi Ahmed. A huge number of people came and celebrated the Mela.
