Pakistan’s former president Pervez Musharraf on Sunday died in a Dubai hospital, according to Pakistan’s Geo News reports.
He was 79.
The former military ruler was undergoing treatment for an ailment at American Hospital Dubai, his family members said.
Musharraf was born on August 11, 1943, in Delhi and completed his early education at St Patrick’s High School in Karachi. The former president pursued higher education at Forman Christian College in Lahore.
