Iran coal mine blast kills 19

A blast at a coal mine in eastern Iran has killed at least 19 people and injured 17 others, state media reported Sunday, reports AFP.

“The number of people killed in the Tabas mine incident… rose to 19,” the official IRNA news agency said, adding that “17 others were wounded” in the blast late Saturday.
