Azam Khan takes oath as minister

Advocate Ahmed Azam Khan, vice chairman of the BNP, has been sworn in as a minister of the cabinet.

President Mohammed Shahabuddin administered the oath at the National Parliament building on Thursday.

Ahmed Azam Khan is currently serving as a member of parliament representing the Tangail-8 constituency.

Further details regarding his portfolio are yet to be announced.
