Health Minister launches preventive oral cholera vaccination campaign

Health Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain has inaugurated a preventive oral cholera vaccination campaign in Dhaka.

He launched the programme at the auditorium of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) at around 9:45am on Thursday (20 August).

DSCC Administrator Md Abdus Salam chaired the inauguration ceremony.

Under the campaign, the first dose of the oral cholera vaccine will be administered in designated areas on 22 August, while the second dose will be given on 26 September.
