Bangla Mirror editor Abdul Karim Goni said expatriates of Jagannathpur are leading in different sectors of businesses including Bengali media in the UK. He was exchanging his views at a reception event on Monday the 22nd of February. Jagannathpur Press Club and jagannathpur24.com jointly organised the reception event for Bangla Mirror editor Abdul Karim Goni and the senior reporter of Channel i Mustafa Mollik at the seminar room of Jagannathpur Upazila.The event was chaired by the president of Jagannathpur Press Club Mr. Shankar Roy and moderated by the editor of jagannathpur24.com Mr. Amit Deb, where the chairman of Jagannathpur Upazila Parishad Mr. Akmal Hussain was invited as the chief guest. Among the speakers of the event, there was vice chairman of the Upazila Parishad Muktadir Ahmed Mukta, ex chairman of Asharkandi Union Dinul Islam Babul and Bedford correspondent of Channel i Mr. Shaikul Huq Shaik. General Secretary of Jagannathpur Press Club Mr Sanwar Hasan Sunu delivered the welcome speech. Vice president of the club Taj Uddin Ahmod and and journalist Mr Abdul Hai also spoke on the on occasion.
Senior reporter of Channel i Mustafa Mollik said that the ruling government is working to progress the mass media in Bangladesh and mass media also contributing hugely in building the nation.
