SSC results to be published on May 12

The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams will be published on May 12.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to officially inaugurate the SSC and equivalent examination result publication programme from Ganabhaban at 10am on May 12.

An Education Ministry source said on Friday. Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury will formally hand over the results to PM. Chairmen of nine education boards will be present there during that time.

The information was revealed after a letter has been sent to education secretary from the Prime Minister’s Office on Thursday. The letter has mentioned that PM has given her consent to attend the ceremony.

Prime Minister’s Assistant Personal Secretary-1 Ismat Mahamuda has signed the letter, an online news portal reports.

The SSC and equivalent exams for 2024 began on February 15. Some 20,24,192 students appeared in the examinations under eleven education boards.

This year’s SSC and equivalent written exams concluded on March 12. The practical exams ended on March 20.
