Euston has erupted into travel chaos as all trains from the station has been suspended. Pictures from the concourse show crowds of frustrated passengers afters being informed their journeys have been delayed or cancelled.
The incident was first reported shortly before 12.45pm this afternoon (Thursday, September 26). National Rail has confirmed an issue has occurred between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction.
Avanti West Coast services to Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh are affected, along with London Northwestern Railway services to Milton Keynes, Birmingham and Crewe.
Transport for London has also been impacted with no Overground trains currently running between Euston and Watford Junction, and no Southern trains between East Croydon and Watford Junction.
Major disruption is expected until 3.30pm this afternoon.
