Justice Khizir Hayat removed

The Supreme Court’ High Court division Justice Khizir Hayat has been removed.

The President removed Justice Khizir Hayat from his post as per section (6) of Article 96 of the constitution.

The Law and Justice Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday (March 19).

A few days back, the Supreme Judicial Council sent a report to the authorities concerned to take action against him upon investigation.
