The Islamic Foundation has issued a directive requesting all mosques across the country to conduct Jumma (Friday) prayers at a uniform time of 1:30 PM.
In a statement released today, the Foundation noted that Jumma prayers are currently held at varying times in different mosques, which often creates confusion for worshippers—especially travelers—who find it difficult to plan accordingly.
“To eliminate this inconvenience and ensure ease for all devout Muslims, the Islamic Foundation has decided to fix a unified time for Jumma prayers nationwide,” the notification stated.
As part of the directive, all directors and deputy directors of the Islamic Foundation have been instructed to implement the measure across their respective divisions and districts.
The Foundation expressed hope that this step would promote better coordination and enhance the worship experience for Muslims throughout the country.
