Tottenham have completed the signing of Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus from West Ham, with the club continuing its rebuild under new head coach Thomas Frank. While financial details were not officially disclosed, British media report the transfer fee to be around £55 million ($75 million).
Kudus, 24, spent two seasons at West Ham after joining from Ajax, scoring 19 goals in 80 appearances. Speaking to Tottenham’s website, he said the club’s long-term vision and Frank’s track record in player development were key factors in his decision. “I have seen the amount of talent he has developed to become great players, and that is a big sign of why I wanted to work under him as well,” Kudus said.
Tottenham are also reportedly on the verge of signing Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, who is expected to undergo a medical ahead of a proposed £60 million ($81.5 million) move.
Gibbs-White, who joined Forest in 2022 following their promotion to the Premier League, played a pivotal role in the club’s successful season. He registered seven goals and eight assists in 34 league appearances, helping Forest qualify for European competition for the first time since 1996.
