12-kg LPG cylinder price cut by Tk 26

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has announced a Tk 26 reduction in the price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder for Nobvemer 2025.

Effective from 6 PM on November 2, the new price of a 12-kg cylinder is Tk 1,215, down from Tk 1,241 in October.

BERC Chairman Jalal Ahmed said the price adjustment aligns with ARAMCO international LPG price for the month.

Along with the 12-kg cylinder, prices for other LPG cylinder sizes have also been revised.

A 5.5-kg cylinder will now cost Tk 557, 12.5 kg Tk 1,226, 15 kg Tk 1,519, 16 kg Tk 1,620, 18 kg Tk 1,822, 20 kg Tk 2,025, 22 kg Tk 2,227, 25 kg Tk 2,531, 30 kg Tk 3,037, 33 kg Tk 3,341, 35 kg Tk 3,543 and 45 kg Tk 4,556.

The price of auto gas has also been fixed at Tk 55.58 per litre for retail sales in the private sector.

Chairman Jalal Ahmed added, “We have reduced LPG prices for November in line with the new price adjustments by Saudi Arabia-based Aramco, which sets the contract price (CP) for LPG at the start of each month for term contracts.”
