2 killed and 7 injured as lighting strike in Sunamganj

At least two people were killed and seven injured as lighting strike in different parts of the district on Tuesday noon.

The deceased were identified as Ajijur Rahman (40), hailing from Mohammadpur village and Giash Uddin (22), hailing from Ashtoma village.

The injured were identified as Sukor Ali (45), hailing from Mohammadpur village and Najir Hossain (22), Aftab Uddin (30), Suja Mia (32), Mukit Mia (25) and injured rushed to Sunamganj General Hospital, police said.

Mohammad Rafikul Islam, Duty Doctor of Sunamganj General Hospital said, among inured one critically injured and sent to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
