Unidentified man found dead in Sylhet

Balaganj (Sylhet) Correspondent : Police recovered the floating body of an unidentified man from the Kushiara river at Balaganj upazila in Sylhet district on Wednesday.

The identities of the deceased, aged around 25-26, could not be known immediately.
Locals saw the body in the river near Balaganj Bus Station Kheyaghat and informed police around 9 am, said officer-in-charge of Balaganj Police Station, Ramprasad Chakraborty.

Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Sylhet Osmani Medical College and Hospital.

It is suspected that the man might have died 15/16 days ago, said the OC.
