AL publicity secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap detained

Police detained former lawmaker and Awami League’s publicity and publication secretary, Abdus Sobhan Miah alias Golap, from Nakhalpara in Dhaka on Sunday afternoon.

Mobarak Hossain, officer-in-charge of Tejgaon Police Station, said they picked up Golap for interrogation around 2:45pm.

Golap was elected parliament member from the Madaripur-3 constituency in the 2018 general election.
