21 new HC judges sworn in

Twenty-one judges, who have been appointed as permanent judges of the High Court, were sworn in on Wednesday (November 12) at the Supreme Court’s Judges’ Lounge.

Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refat Ahmed administered the oath, while Supreme Court Registrar General Muhammad Habibur Rahman Siddiquee conducted the ceremony.

Judges from the Appellate and High Court divisions were also present there.

Earlier on Tuesday, 22 additional judges of the High Court (HC) Division of the Supreme Court (SC) have been appointed as permanent judges.

They are Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mozumder, Justice Syed Enayet Hossain, Justice Md Mansur Alam, Justice Sayed Jahed Mansur, Justice KM Rasheduzzaman Raja, Justice Md Jabid Hossain, Justice Mubina Asaf, Justice Kazi Waliul Islam, Justice Aynun Nahar Siddiqua, Justice Md Abdul Mannan, Justice Tamanna Rahman Khalidi, Justice Md Shofiul Alam Mahmood, Justice Md Hamidur Rahman, Justice Nasreen Akter, Justice Shathika Hossain, Justice Syed Mohammed Tazrul Hossain, Justice Md Toufiq Inam, Justice Yousuf Abdullah Suman, Justice Sk Tahsin Ali, Justice Foyej Ahmed, Justice Md Sagir Hossain, and Justice Sikder Mahmudur Razi.
