Redbridge Community Trust UK Holds Executive Committee Meeting.

 

30 November 2025:

Redbridge Community Trust UK held its Executive Committee meeting on Sunday evening at a café in Ilford to review recent activities, evaluate community engagement, and plan forthcoming programmes. The meeting was presided over by President Mohammed Ohid Uddin and conducted by General Secretary Shaheen Chowdhury.

Cllr. Ahbab Hussain Choudhury attended the meeting as an observer.

Committee members present included: Anamul Hoque Anam, Misbah Jamal, Maksud Ahmed, Niaz Choudhury, Shaheen Ahmed, Mohammed Abu Taraque Chowdhury, Jaynul Chowdhury, Abu Shohel, Dr. Syed Mashuk Ahmed, Kamrul Islam Delwar, Cllr. Syeda Chowdhury Basith, Alin Choudhury, Helal Choudhury, Mohammed Shumon Choudhury, Professor Shahidul Islam Menu, and other respected members of the trust.

The committee reflected on the successful summer trip to Brighton held in August. Members shared their views on the event’s impact on community bonding and discussed improvements for future activities.

President Mohammed Ohid Uddin stated:

“Redbridge Community Trust continues to serve the community with dedication and unity. Our recent activities have shown what we can achieve together, and we are committed to strengthening that progress.”

General Secretary Shaheen Chowdhury added:

“The meeting provided valuable feedback and clear direction for upcoming programmes. We aim to organise engaging, meaningful events that benefit families, students, and the wider community.”

Looking ahead, the committee outlined several major upcoming initiatives, including:

Celebrations of Bangladesh National Days

The annual Eid Reunion

The Student Awards Ceremony recognising academic achievements

Preparations for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to renew and formalise the next executive committee

Observer Cllr. Ahbab Hussain Choudhury commented:

“It is encouraging to see the dedication of Redbridge Community Trust in promoting cultural, educational, and social development. I am pleased to witness the positive direction of their work.”

The meeting concluded by Presiden t Ohid Uddin.

He was thanking all members for their presence and their continued commitment to community service.
