Billboards, banners torn down out of fear of public support: Nahid

National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam has said that mafia groups have been frightened by the public support.

”Out of fear, they are tearing down billboards and banners one after another. A desperate attempt is underway to stop the march of the Shaplakoli.”

He made these remarks in a Facebook post on Monday.

He wrote, ”On Sunday night, a billboard was torn down near the Nurbag Mosque in ward no 23. I Condemned such a despicable act. Those who are trying to stop me by tearing down banners and billboards, are mistaken. On the 12th, the people of Badda, Bhatara and Rampura will respond InShaAllah.”
