Asda’s offers get bigger and better this Ramadan

24With an entire month to plan for, many of us are already thinking up our meal ideas for Ramadan this year. Though the practice of the Holy Month involves fasting, sacrifice and worship, we all know so well that it additionally carries the task of preparing a variety of dishes for the next 30 days.
Helen Yates, Customer Planning Manager for Asda Ethnic Ranges said: “We are trying to give our customers the best deals and range across the whole store. From big bags of onions to basmati rice, fresh halal meat for scratch cooking, to convenience products like ready made samosas and cooking sauces. We also haven’t forgotten that mums need to feed their kids at teatime, so we’ve even made sure to include great offers on our frozen range like halal pizzas and chicken nuggets.”

With a bigger range of products and offers this Ramadan across participating stores at Asda, they asked mums if they found planning Iftar meals challenging? Many mums agreed that the planning of meals was demanding and that the thorough planning and shopping for Ramadan went hand in hand.
A number of mums also shared that their number one priority when shopping for Ramadan was to save money. Asda customer, Mrs. Nadia Choudhury, a Homemaker from London said: “I shop at Asda as they have offers on a large range of products for Ramadan at low prices. I’d bought Shazans lamb mince, chicken thighs and drumsticks, 3 for £10. That’s not all; I’ve even picked up my essentials, like Laila atta and Shahi basmati rice at £3.97p. It’s saving me money as well as not having to compromise on the quality of the products. I also get to do my entire shopping all under one roof.”
To help Mums with their Ramadan meal ideas, Asda are sharing a special 30-day calendar with special price busting products and offers to make your Iftar meals for the family tasty and delicious.
