Two killed in Sunamganj road crash

Two people were killed and three others injured in a road accident on Dirai-Madonpur road at Dakkhin Sunamganj upazila of the district on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Wasiur Rahman, 55, and Nepur Mia, 30, hailed from Purannayahat village of Chhatok upazila.
The accident took place in the area when the driver of the truck lost control over its steering and plunged into a road side ditch. The accident left two workers dead on the spot, said officer-in-charge (OC) of Dakkhin Sunamganj police station Al Amin.
The injured were rushed to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital, he added.
