Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in London on Friday 12 June on a six-day personalvisit

13A special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, carrying the premier and her entourage, landed at the Heathrow Airport at 15:41. She is accompanied among others by State Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. Md. Shahriar Alam, Media Adviser to Prime Minister Mr. Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury and Press Secretary to Prime Minister Mr. A K M Shameem Chowdhuri.
Bangladesh High Commissioner in London Md. Abdul Hannan, local Awami League leaders as well as other officials greeted the prime minister at the airport. Minister (Press) Nadeem Qadir and Defence Adviser Brig. Gen Sheikh Pasha Habib Uddin, afwc, psc welcomed her at Hotel Hilton, Park Lane.
The premier, who is also the president of Awami League (AL), will be accorded a reception in London on June 14 by the expatriate Bangladeshis for various achievements as well as the implementation of the Land Boundary Agreement (LBA) with India.
The premier is scheduled to leave for home on June 17.
