Hobibpur-Keshabpur Madrasa Society UK held an emergency meeting in a hall in East London on 19th October. Chairman of the society Alhaj Arfiq Ali presieded over the meeting and Abu Tareq Shipon and Masud Rahman jointly conducted it.
Guests who addressed the audience included Treasurer of the society and prominent community leader Md Hasnu Miah, Trustee of British Bangla Education Trust Md Abdun Nur, Vice-president of the society Md Abdul Mossabbir, General Secretary of Jagannathpur Pouroshava Unnoyon Shangshta Md Tosir Ali, Treasurer of of Jagannathpur Pouroshava Unnoyon Shangshta Md Shumon Ahmed, Md Arjomon Miah, Md Jahangir Mannan, Md Abdul Mumin, Alif Miah, Md Bulon Miah and others.
Guests who were presented at the meeting included Alhaj Najir Ali, Md Moinuddin, Haji Suleman Miah, Md Aladuddin, prominent community activist of Keshabpur Md Abdul Haque, Md Nur Miah, Md Muktar Ali and others.
The speakers expressed their sincere gratitude to those who donated towards the building of 3rd floor of the Madrasa which cost around 30 lakh taka.
They also praised highly of the UK living Non-residence-Bangladeshis who donate and help towards the education process in Bangladesh and thus helping people to follow the glow of Islam.
The society came up with some important decision after having a long conversation among the members to speed up the activities of Madrasa. Some of these decisions included forming a new committee according to the advices of senior citizens of village under the guidance of Society constituiton
