9hrs curfew break in Dhaka, 3 other districts for weekend

The government has announced to relax the ongoing nationwide curfew in Dhaka, Gazipur, Narsingdi, Narayanganj from 8am to 5pm for Friday and Saturday.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said on Thursday night.

The local administrations will set the timing in other districts.

The minister said special prayers will be held in the mosques on Friday, and in temples, churches and pagodas on Sunday for those killed in violence during recent quota reform protests that forced the government to impose the restrictions.
