Bangladeshi killed in airstrike in Lebanon

A Bangladeshi young man has been killed in an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon’s capital Beirut.

Deceased Mohammad Nizam Uddin, 32, hailed from Kosba upazila of Brahmanbaria.

The Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut confirmed the death in a condolence note stating that Mohammad Nizam Uddin (passport number EF0620043) was killed in an airstrike at around 3:23PM on Saturday, while at a coffee shop on his way to work in the Hazmieh area of Beirut.

The Ambassador of Bangladesh to Lebanon Air Vice Marshal Abdur Rahman Khan expressed deep sorrow over the death of Mohammad Nizam Uddin. He prayed for the forgiveness of his departed soul and extended heartfelt condolences to the grieving family members.
