Lawyer Saiful’s family files murder case

Father of slain Advocate Saiful Islam Alif on Friday night filed a murder case against 31 named persons and 10 to 15 unidentified individuals.

The case was recorded early Saturday.

Saiful’s father Jamal Uddin lodged the case with Kotwali Police Station, ADC (Public Relations) Kazi Tarek Aziz of the Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP).

Meanwhile, another case was filed by Saiful’s brother Khan-e-Alam accusing 116 people of attacking lawyera and vandalising the court building during the confrontation was underway.

Earlier, police have filed three cases against 79 named individuals and 1,400 unidentified people.
