Journalists can enter secretariat with temporary passes from Monday: Nahid

Journalists will be able to enter the secretariat with temporary passes from Monday (December 30), said Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Adviser Md Nahid Islam on Sunday.

“We’re not allowing anyone to enter the secretariat today (Sunday) as it is the last date of submission of initial report on the fire incident by the probe body. For this, you (journalists) are not able to enter secretariat today. But you will be allowed to enter the secretariat from tomorrow.”

Nahid came up with the information to media at the secretariat.
The journalists, who are on-duty regularly at the secretariat, were seen waiting at the visitor’s gate since Sunday morning.
