Joint drive begins across country

A joint raid, combining army and police, began across the country from 12 midnight on Tuesday to recover unauthorised firearms as the deadline for submitting legal and illegal weapons ended on Tuesday night. Earlier, the interim government suspended all licenses of firearms issued during the Awami League government. This operation will also target to halt drug trafficking.
