RAB arrests 5 drug peddlers, recovers phensidyls, yaba and arms

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-9) has arrested at least 5 drug peddlers and recovered huge amount of drugs including yaba tablets, phensidyls and mobile set following conducting drive throughout the Sylhet for last two days.
Five different team of the elite forces conducted separate anti-crime drive at different places in Sylhet on Thursday recovered 50 pieces of yaba tablets, 213 bottles of phensidyls said a RAB release here today.
Besides, BGB in separate drive at Dholai river under Companigonj upazila in Sylhet district on Thursday and recovered total 213 bottles wine and phensidyls.
A team of RAB-9 in a drive at 1pm on yesterday recovered two one-shooter guns in abandoned position from Lakatura tea garden area under Sylhet district.
