One dies in Sunamganj boat capsize

A man died as a boat capsized in the Kalni River under Dirai upazila of Sunamganj district yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahman, 60, of Ujandhal village in the upazila.
Police said the boat was carrying six passengers from Dhal area to Ujandhal in the upazila. It was caught in a storm at around 9:00am and sank into the river.
Five passengers managed to swim ashore while Rahman drowned.
On information, a rescue team rushed to the spot and recovered the body from the river.
