Sabina 7 sinks STAR

22Bangladesh women footballer Sabina Khatun kicked her FAM National Women’s Championship campaign in style as the ace striker netted seven goals in her first game with the Maldives National Defense Force yesterday.
Riding on Sabina’s goal galore, Dhivehi Sifainge Club, an outfit of Maldives National Defense Force, crushed Society for Thundi Advancement & Recreation (STAR) by 10-0.
The other Bangladeshi midfielder Mirona also scored once while their compatriot, goalkeeper Sabina Akhter, also put up a brave display to earn a clean-sheet.
The 22-year-old Sabina was the first ever female footballer from Bangladesh to play in a foreign league when he played for Police Club in the Maldives Women’s Futsal Fiesta in March-April where she slammed 37 goals in just six matches.
