While talking to reporters after visiting Kutupalong Rohingya camp in Ukhia upazila, he also said his country will provide all kinds of cooperation to Bangladesh as long as it gives shelter to Rohingyas.
Hailing Bangladesh for giving shelter to Rohingyas, the British state minister said the country cannot bear the burden for long.
He also urged the world to raise voice together to resolve the Rohingya crisis.
Alistair Burt visited newly constructed extension camp-4 at Madhurchhara of Kutupalong and saw for himself the condition of the Myanmar’s displaced people.
He also talked to several Rohingyas at that time.
Alistair Burt was appointed on June 13, 2017 and entered Parliament for the first time in 1983 and was elected Conservative MP for north east Bedfordshire in 2001.
He served as Minister of State for Community and Social Care at the Department of Health from May 2015 until July 2016.
Previously, he served as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office from May 2010 until October 2013.
